Hudson

Aaron Reifowitz, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26th, 2023. He was born and raised in New York and served in the New York National Guard before moving to Hudson and starting a family. Aaron was a master printer who worked for Hudson Printing and American Can Company before starting his own business. He opened a service station on Apsley Street then moved the business to Main St, where he owned the Getty Service Station for several years. In addition, Aaron was a member of the Hudson Auxiliary Police Force.

After selling his business, Aaron worked at Digital Corporation until he retired. He then moved to western Massachusetts where he spent the remainder of his time. One of his favorite pastimes was flying.  He held a private pilot license and enjoyed taking his family and friends up in his Cessna 170B.  In his later years, he found joy in playing the harmonica, watching his TV shows, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

Aaron was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all. He leaves behind his two sons, Aaron and David, his loving daughter Debra, four granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren. Aaron was a true role model who will always be remembered for his kindness.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Forestvale Cemetery on Broad St in Hudson, MA.
