Ann Louise (Janjikian) Scott

July 18, 1947 — December 3, 2021

Hudson

Ann Louise (Janjikian) Scott passed away on December 3, 2021 after a brief illness.  Ann was born on July 18, 1947 to Charles and Mary Janjikian.  She attended Forsyth University, now part of Northeastern, to become a dental hygienist, which she practiced in CA and IL for many years.

When she moved to Marlborough, MA she started a new career with Welcome Wagon, which she excelled at.  She was the one-woman welcoming committee to city for all new residents, parents, and businesses for over 15 years and she knew everyone.  After working for a year with the Community Advocate newspaper, Ann opened up her own business, City Greetings, to continue greeting people into the community for another 20 years.

Ann was very involved with the City of Marlborough and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, serving on various boards and committees with the City, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and many, many more.  She was the ultimate volunteer and go-to person if you needed help with a project, golf tournament, or charity drive.

Ann leaves her sister Arlene (Ari) Caldwell of Acton, MA, her three children, Laura Scott of Concord, NH, Drew Scott of Chicago, IL, and Jordan (Jordi) Scott of NYC, NY, her granddaughter Gabriella Scott as well as many cousins.  Ann made many friends over the years through her work but her best friend, Susanne Leeber, was like a member of the family and was like another sister.

There will be no services per Ann’s request but if you would like to make a donation in Ann’s memory, you can do so to The Armenian Tree Project (www.armeniatree.org) or your local food pantry.
