Anna Marie (Panaggio) Edwards

Anna Marie (Panaggio) Edwards, 86, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at MetroWest Hospital in Framingham, with her family by her side, after a period of declining health.  Her beloved husband of more than 40 years Ronald H. Edwards predeceased her on June 25, 2000.

Anna was born in Newton, MA, on November 30, 1935, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary V. (Laconte) Panaggio. She was raised in Newton, MA, where she also graduated from Newton High School. Shortly after their marriage Anna and Ronald settled in the Stratton Hill neighborhood of Hudson, MA in 1962, after spending the first few years in Waltham together. Anna was a devoted homemaker, raising their three children. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and taking trips to the local casinos with her son. She took pleasure in working with stained glass and was an avid collector of  porcelain figures.

Anna is survived by her three children, Stephen J. Edwards of Marlborough, MA, Scott P. Edwards of Ashburnham, MA, and Diane M. Edwards of Hudson, MA. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Dylan J. Edwards of Medford, MA, Joshua M. Edwards of Marlborough, MA and Taylor P. Edwards of Marlborough, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4-7pm, on Friday, July 8, 2022 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. Burial will be held privately at Forest Vale Cemetery.
