Antonio C. Braga

Antonio C. Braga, 65, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, on Thursday, November 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Josefina G. (Faria) Braga.

Antonio was born on November 27, 1952 in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, a son of the late Jose V. and Maria (Chaves) Braga. Antonio immigrated to Hudson in 1966 and later moved to California from 1977 until 1989 and eventually returned to Hudson after spending a year in Brazil. Antonio worked as a machine operator for Color Technology in Westborough, MA until his retirement.

Antonio was an avid Boston sports fan and he also enjoyed deep sea fishing and spending time with his many friends at PJ’s and the Portuguese Club in Hudson. Most of all Antonio enjoyed being with with his wife, children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Josefina G. (Faria) Braga, Antonio is also survived by his three children, Ricardo J. Braga of Marlborough,MA, Mark A. Braga of Boylston, MA and Steven E. Braga of CT; two siblings, Jose C. Braga and his wife Maria R. of CA and Maria F. Rummerfield and her husband Larry of Hudson, MA; two step-children, Adriana G. Faria and her husband Luciano and Lindoryfe G, Faria and his wife Patricia; six grandchildren, Krystal Braga, Peighton Braga, Jack Braga, Nicolle Silva, Artur Queiros and Maria Eduarda Faria and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 4 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be held privately at a later time.
