Antonio Lino, 89, a cherished member of the Hudson community and a devoted family man, peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family, on April 19, 2026, at Coleman House in Northborough, Massachusetts.
He was born on July 21, 1936, in Santo Estevao, Chaves, Portugal, to the late Francisco and Maria Eugenia (Feijo) Lino. Antonio was a life-long resident of Hudson who dedicated himself to both his family and community with unwavering kindness and gentleness.
Antonio was a proud member of the Portuguese Club for many years and an active participant in Saint Michael’s Parish, Antonio contributed greatly to the cultural and spiritual fabric of his community.
Antonio enjoyed maintaining his yard, an expression of his care and attention to detail, and he found great happiness in spending quality time with his loved ones. He especially treasured his role as a grandfather, a title he held with immense pride and affection. A passionate fan of Futebol Clube do Porto—commonly known as FC Porto—he enjoyed following the team’s pursuits and sharing that enthusiasm with those close to him.
He is survived by his devoted sons, Orlando Lino and his wife Kathryn of Hudson, Massachusetts, and Francisco Lino and his wife Ginger of Franklin, Massachusetts; his loving daughters, Ana Couto of Andover, Massachusetts, and Eugenia Manna of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; and his treasured grandchildren Sean McGann and his wife Jessica, Amanda Lino, Julianna Lino, Olivia Couto, Sophia Couto, Adam Manna, and Brendan Manna. Antonio also leaves behind his brother Fernando Lino and his wife Olympia; his sisters Rosa Cardosa, Zaira Pires, Maria Cruz and her husband Gabriel, and Olga Ferreira and her husband Antonio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Alcina DeJesus (Joaquim) Lino, whose memory remains deeply embedded in the hearts of all who knew them, and his son-in-law Derek Manna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, located at 50 Central Street in Hudson, Massachusetts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Following the Mass, his burial service will take place at Saint Michael Cemetery, 278 Cox Street, Hudson.
