Antonio M. Braga, born on February 5, 1962, in Santa Maria, Azores of Portugal, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, after a period of declining health. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Antonio worked for many years as a concrete mason and was a proud member of the Boston Local 534 Masons Union. His dedication to his craft was only matched by his easy-going nature. Antonio was best described as a “Happy Go Lucky” type of person, always ready with a smile and a kind word for those around him. He cherished the special moments spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
In 1969, Antonio’s family settled in Hudson, MA, a community he loved and called home for many years. His interests included fishing and boating, with trips to Cape Cod holding a special place in his heart. He took particular joy in listening to his nephew Kevin play the drums, always appreciating the talent and passion he brought to his music.
Antonio leaves behind his beloved sister, Maria F. Figueiredo, wife of the late Antonio Figueiredo of Hudson, MA; his daughter, Misty Braga Inman; his Grandchildren, JJ and Jaden, his fiancé Judy Alberti; his Godson/nephew, Steven Figueiredo and his wife Helena of Hudson, MA, his nephew, Kevin Figueiredo and his wife Gaelle of Millbury, MA; his niece, Susan Olson and her husband Jon of Shrewsbury, MA; as well as his many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Braga and Maria de Conceicao Braga, whose love and values lived on through him.
Antonio’s warm spirit and joyful personality will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for life, family, and friends will leave an enduring mark on the hearts of those he encountered throughout his journey.
Funeral services were held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting Antonio's family with arrangements.
