Audrey is survived by her sister, Mary McCoy; her three children, Christopher (Lyn) Davidson of Milbury MA, Beth (Paul) Chiasson of Enfield NH, and Joe (Beth) Davidson of Los Angeles CA; her five beloved grandchildren, Danielle, Rachelle, Brandon, Thea, and Lucian; and her five cherished great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Natalie, Reese, Elise, and Aiden. She grew up in Lynbrook, NY on the south shore of Long Island, and developed roots that shaped her warmth, resilience, and spirited personality.
A passionate advocate for young children, Audrey founded Children’s Horizons Preschool in 1987 and dedicated herself wholeheartedly to early childhood education. When she retired in 2017, her commitment, energy, and belief in the potential of every child left a lasting impact on countless families.
Audrey lived a life of service. She was a Eucharistic Minister at UMass Memorial Hospital in Marlborough and at her church, bringing comfort and faith to many. She was active in the Catholic Daughters of America. Audrey also volunteered through the Hudson Senior Center, delivering meals with Meals on Wheels, a role she cherished for the connections it allowed her to make with others.
Known for her vibrant presence, quick wit, and warm humor, Audrey brought joy to every gathering. She remained active and socially engaged throughout her life through her church and community. Her kindness, laughter, and generosity of spirit made her beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
