Beverly Ann Linthwaite, nee Kirk, 85, of Hudson MA, formerly of Hampton NH, on April 30, 2026.
Beverly was born and raised in Amesbury Massachusetts. She attended Greater Boston Academy while working at a nursing home in Stoneham Massachusetts. She married Harold Linthwaite on Valentine’s Day in 1960 at the Amesbury Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Beverly worked at Western Electric. Then she became a nurse’s aide at the Rockingham County Nursing Home. She later worked as a unit secretary in the Maternity Ward at Exeter Hospital. She loved talking to new mothers and completing the birth certificates.
Before she retired, Beverly worked in several doctors’ offices. She always took great pride in being organized and efficient while being kind and caring to the patients.
Beverly loved making crafts. She crocheted afghans, learned macrame, handcrafted silk flowers and made personalized shadow box gifts.
Early in her marriage Beverly and Harold cared for foster babies. Her love for children continued well into her 70’s as she provided child care for close friends and neighbors.
Bringing family together always brought Beverly great joy. She loved hosting holidays and decorating for Christmas. She rarely missed the opportunity to celebrate a birthday or anniversary with a card or a call. She loved music and had a special fondness for instrumental piano and country music.
