Brian N. Bourgeois, affectionately known as "Lucky," passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 8, 1970, in Waltham, MA, Brian spent most of his life in Hudson and Marlborough, communities that he cherished dearly.
A proud 1988 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Marlborough, Brian later went on to receive his Associates Degree from ITT Technical Institute in Framingham, MA. His career took him to the several courier jobs where he developed his incredible sense of direction. No need for a map or a GPS for Brian.
Brian was known for his quick wit and unique sense of humor, often using sarcasm as a hallmark of his affection towards those he loved. Always laid back and easy going. His personality was a beacon of loyalty as he nurtured long-lasting friendships, creating many memorable moments with the friends he held dear.
In addition to his active social life, Brian enjoyed playing baseball during his youth as part of the Hudson and Marlborough youth baseball leagues. He was most passionate about Deck Hockey. He knew how to score. He was a life long Montreal Canadiens fan, as well as a Wayne Gretzky fan. He enjoyed gathering with friends to watch a game or engage in darts, participating in several local leagues. He also loved learning about history and watching documentaries.
Brian leaves behind his father, Donat "Dan" Bourgeois of Bouctouche, Canada; his sister, Denise Bourgeois of Clinton, MA; and another sister, Janice Staruk and her husband Scott of West Boylston, MA. He is also survived by his niece Nova Staruk, and nephews Luke Staruk, Trent Staruk, and Sawyer Drake, along with beloved relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.
Brian was predeceased by his mother, Alfreda (LeBlanc) Bourgeois. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Brian's life at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, located at 50 Central St., Hudson, MA.
