Bryan K. Ellis

Bryan K. Ellis passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 13, 1960, in Niagara Falls, New York, Bryan lived a life defined by devotion to family, loyalty to friends, steady work, and a spirit that lifted those around him.

Bryan was a life long resident of Marlborough, a community he loved. He attended local schools and was a 1979 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough, Bryan was a member of the football team and studied carpentry, a skill that became a lasting source of enjoyment throughout his life. That early foundation in craftsmanship stayed with him for decades and found expression not only in his hobbies, but in the thoughtful way he gave of himself to others.

Bryan worked for Worthen Industries in New Hampshire, where he specialized in the manufacturing of Industrial Adhesives & Coatings. He took pride in his work and recently retired in 2025, closing a long chapter of dedicated service.

Outside of work, Bryan embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth. He enjoyed golfing with friends and was a familiar presence in the Sunday Softball League in Marlborough as well as the Flag Football League in Marlborough at Ward Park. Candlepin bowling was another favorite pastime. He loved watching sporting events on television, especially Yankees and Patriots games, and found particular joy in fishing. Balch Lake in New Hampshire held a special place in his life, and he made many trips there over the years. On his final recent trip, he returned home with a prize catch that made him especially proud. Carpentry remained close to his heart as well. With care and talent, he designed and crafted Christmas gifts for family and friends, gifts that became cherished reminders of his generosity and skill.

Bryan will be remembered for the way he made the lives of those he encountered better. He was the strength and guiding light to his wife, Dianne, his son, Tim, and his siblings throughout their years together. His humor was always appreciated, and he was known as the joker in the bunch. Loyal and loving, Bryan met people with an open heart and a cheerful spirit. Many will always hear his familiar morning greeting: “Today is going to be a great day.” In those simple words, he shared the optimism that marked his life and touched so many.

He is survived by his son, Tim Ellis of Marlborough; and by his sisters, Gail McDonald and her husband Michael of Newton, Joyce Provencal and her husband Bruce of Hudson, and Robin Frias and her husband Rodney of Hudson along with his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Ellis; his father, Keith Ellis; and his mother, Carol (Brown) Renaud. Bryan’s love for his family was evident in the strength he offered, the laughter he shared, and the traditions he helped create.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, Massachusetts 01749. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial services will be held privately.

Bryan’s life was one of craftsmanship, humor, loyalty, and love. He leaves behind memories of good mornings, shared games, favorite teams, treasured handmade gifts, and time spent on the water doing what he loved. His example and his spirit will remain with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
