Charles (Chuck) Joseph Kaloustian, a cherished husband, father and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence in Pelham, NH, surrounded by his adoring wife, three daughters, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law on June 20, 2025. Born on March 28, 1936, in Hudson, MA, Chuck's early years were spent in the company of family and friends, forming the foundation of a life devoted to service both in his professional and personal endeavors.

Chuck graduated from Hudson High School in 1954 and furthered his education by earning a bachelor's degree from Bentley College in Waltham, MA. His career as an accountant spanned an impressive 35 years at Raytheon Company, where he was recognized for his dedication and expertise, primarily focusing on United States Military Defense Projects. Chuck’s commitment to his work reflected his unwavering sense of duty, a value fortified by his military service in the United States Air Force during the conclusion of the Korean War. He proudly served in Germany as a member of the 7100th Support Wing (USAFE), a chapter of his life that he looked back on with honor.

He married the girl next door, Jeann M. Charbonneau, on Oct. 15, 1960, and started their life together as newlyweds in a little apartment on Central St. before moving to Pine St. and starting their family. Raytheon relocated him in 1972 and he and Jeanne moved their family to Chelmsford where they raised their girls. During this time, lifelong friendships were made and he got involved with the Chelmsford Hockey Association and coached youth hockey for several years.

Throughout the years, Chuck's unwavering devotion to his wife, Jeanne M. "Charbonneau" Kaloustian, and his children illuminated his character. Family gatherings were filled with love and laughter, and Chuck was a constant pillar of support and encouragement to those closest to him.

The Kaloustian family also remembers Chuck as someone who brought them closer together. The experience of living in Chelmsford, MA, from 1972 until their move to Hampton Beach in 1995 created lasting memories that they hold dear.

Chuck and Jeanne shared a love for the ocean. They spent their family vacations on Concord Ave. in Hampton, NH for over 25 years until they moved there and spent their later years creating memorable moments at their beautiful beach house. He was meticulous in caring for his lawn, embracing the simple pleasures that life had to offer. He enjoyed playing golf with friends at local courses, woodworking, and cheering for his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.

Chuck's legacy is preserved in the hearts of his surviving family, including his beloved wife, Jeanne; daughters Karen Apostolakes and her husband Jay of Dracut, MA; Paula Kaloustian and her wife Renee of Pelham, NH; and Linda Banker and her husband Mel of Dracut, MA. He is also survived by his cherished great grandsons, Landon and Ethan Apostolakes, along with nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will continue to honor his memory.

He is preceded in death by his infant son Stephen Charles Kaloustian, his parents, Nesses and Antionette "D'Angelo" Kaloustian; and his siblings, Joan Morel of Hudson, MA; Carol Nesto of Florida; and Richard "Dick" Kaloustian of Florida. He was a beloved son-in-law to Roland "Squash" and Gertrude Charbonneau and brother-in-law to John "Jack" and Joan Anastas.

As we remember Charles J. Kaloustian, we reflect on a life well-lived, characterized by love, devotion, and a steadfast commitment to family and service. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
