Christopher M. Medeiros

Christopher “Chris” Medeiros, 37, of Leicester, MA,  passed away peacefully at home on June 13th 2023, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

He leaves his wife and best friend Sarah Parmentier of Leicester; his parents John and Lucy (Fontes) Medeiros of Hudson, MA; his brother Derek Medeiros of Hudson, MA; his Godmother Theresa Beaudoin of Hudson, MA; his in-laws Christopher and Christine Parmentier of Leicester, MA; his brother-in-law Nick Parmentier and his partner Joleen Forgione of Oakham; and his beloved niece Gianna of Spencer, MA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his cousin Pat Fontes.

Chris was born August 11, 1985 and grew up in Hudson, MA. He graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in 2004 and graduated from Worcester State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2008. He worked at Digital Federal Credit Union over 12 years, most recently as a quality assurance analyst.

Chris was always young at heart. Among his many interests he loved movies, ranging from horror to Disney. He also enjoyed listening to music, ranging from pop to hardcore punk. His favorite holiday was Halloween. He loved to decorate and hand out candy to the trick or treaters. He enjoyed reading comic books and planting his vegetable garden every summer. He had many collections including Incredible Hulk figurines, horror movie collectibles, sunglasses, and baseball hats. He loved going out to eat and trying new restaurants. He always looked forward to vacations with his wife in Ogunquit, ME and various towns on Cape Cod. He was an avid animal lover; his favorites being dogs, pigs, and turtles. He also loved going to Southwick’s Zoo and observing the animals there. Above all Chris was a kind and compassionate person, who always wanted to make those he cared for smile and laugh. He held a deep love for his friends and family and, even in his final days, selflessly placed the concerns of others before his own.

Calling hours for Chris will be held on Tuesday June 20th 2023 from 4pm-8pm at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 21st 2023 at 9am at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson, MA.
