Daniel Bryan Talbot, 80, a cherished husband, devoted family member, and passionate professional, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Marlborough, MA with his family beside him.
Born on January 8, 1945, in Fort Morgan, Colorado, son to the late Leslie "Jerry" and Gladys (Wiederspan) Talbot. Daniel was a lifelong resident of Hudson, where he spent 47 years and moved from Cornwell Heights, PA after several years. Daniel pursued his education at the University of Nebraska, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. His career was marked by a combination of industry experience and entrepreneurial spirit as he worked for various companies before establishing himself as a consultant for multiple technology firms. Daniel's expertise and dedication to his work were a testament to his unwavering commitment to innovation and progress.
Daniel’s life was not solely defined by his professional endeavors. He was a loving and devoted husband to his beloved wife, Diane M. Talbot (Gingras), with whom he celebrated a wonderful marriage since September 4, 1976. Their shared life was filled with music, laughter, and beautiful memories, including cherished trips to Hawaii and Florida. The couple enjoyed each other's company, indulging in their mutual interests, as Daniel's love for music—especially the piano—and his keen interest in all things technology filled their home with joy.
In addition to his remarkable spirit at home, Daniel was deeply rooted and knowledgeable in his faith as a Methodist. He shared his passions outside of the home as well, being an active member of the Organ Society of Massachusetts and the IEEE Society.
Family was at the core of Daniel’s being. He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane; his sister, Marjorie, and her husband, Ron; his nieces, Mindy Thompson and Heather Dickson; his nephew, Alexander Dickson; and multiple great nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents he is also predeceased by his brother, Bradford R. Talbot.
He will be profoundly missed by those who knew him, especially for his caring nature and the vibrant life he led alongside his wonderful wife. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff at Hospice Metrowest and Amada Senior Care for their compassionate support during Daniel’s final days.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy of love, ingenuity, and unwavering faith that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we remember him, let us carry forward the warmth of his memory in our hearts.
