Dianne M. Ellis, née Bouvier, a cherished member of the Marlborough community, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 18, 1965, in Brighton, Massachusetts, Dianne was raised in Grafton, MA, where she attended local schools before making Marlborough her home for over four decades.
Dianne’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her community. She was a nurturing mother to her son, Timothy Ellis, and a loving wife to her husband, Bryan K. Ellis, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage. Known as the glue and guiding light of her family, Dianne had a warm and gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew her. She was always ready to lend advice and support, especially to Tim, helping him navigate life’s everyday challenges with patience and kindness. Her considerate nature extended beyond her family; she consistently placed others’ interests before her own and was widely regarded as a warm soul with a wonderful personality.
Professionally, Dianne was a dedicated customer service representative, most recently serving at the Avidia Bank Main Street Branch in Hudson, where she had worked for the past four years. Before this, she held the same role at St. Mary’s Credit Union in Marlborough, continuing a long-standing commitment to helping others. Early in her career, following high school, Dianne managed the Marlborough Burger King and worked in food service at Raytheon. She also contributed to the community at Horsefeathers Pub in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Dianne found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Gardening was her favorite pastime; she delighted in cultivating her vegetable garden and designing beautiful landscapes filled with flowers and plants around her home. She also had a great affection for her cats, whose companionship brought comfort and happiness.
Her family and friends will fondly remember the many Christmases and holidays spent together, especially cherishing the moments shared with Bryan’s extended family. These memories, along with the countless others created throughout her life, will be treasured forever.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Bryan K. Ellis of Marlborough, MA; her son, Tim Ellis of Marlborough, MA; her sister, Elizabeth Bouvier of Natick, MA; and her brother, John “Bouv” Bouvier of Worcester, MA, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert Bouvier and Ellen (Lotti) Bouvier.
