Edward E. Horton, 40, of Hudson, died on Friday, May 20th at Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Born in Lowell, son of Frederick W. Horton Sr. and LaRayne (Johannes) Horton of Hudson, Edward has been a long time resident of Hudson where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School, class of 1988. He was currently employed as a mechanic for Assabet Sand and Gravel Company of Acton. Edward enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time hunting and fishing and was also a stock car enthusiast.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Frederick W. Horton Jr. of Hudson; his two nieces, Shelby and Shania Horton and their mother Kim Horton, all of Hudson. He is also survived by his long time girl friend, Deborah Riddle of Hudson and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 25th from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
