Elaine Anzalone, 94, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026. Born on November 6, 1931, in Waltham, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Esther Finney.
Elaine was a longtime resident of Hudson and a devoted member of St. Michael’s Church. In her later years, she divided her time between The Highlands in Westborough and her home in Longboat Key, Florida, where she formed many lasting friendships and embraced the coastal lifestyle she loved.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Anzalone, 32 years ago, and by her son, John Anzalone last year.
Elaine is survived by her children:Marilyn Green Berardi and her husband Edward Berardi of Southborough and Nantucket;Richard Anzalone and his wife Lisa of Marlborough;Donald Anzalone and his wife Marcela of California;Christine Anzalone, widow of her late son John Anzalone, of New Hampshire.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Thompson and her husband Ray Thompson, and their daughters Hailey, Hannah, and Emma of Southborough; Jonathan Green and his wife Penny, and their children Ryan and Maggie of Southborough; Christopher Green and his wife Geraldine of Bolton; Jill Trovo and her husband Pedro, and their children Landon and Briella of Hudson; Jacy Anzalone and Kristen Anzalone; Sarah Walters, Alyssa, and Mark Anzalone; Nick and Gianna Anzalone.
Elaine is lovingly remembered by her 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
Elaine found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the beach, especially in Florida, and treasured the many friendships she made both there and in Massachusetts. She served as an usher at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, where she enjoyed being part of the arts community. She also volunteered at the Women’s Exchange, supporting survivors of domestic abuse—an expression of her compassion and dedication to helping others.
Above all, Elaine cherished time with her family, who were the center of her life.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church 23 Manning St., followed by a burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery at 278 Cox St., Hudson, MA. The Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home are honored to assist with arrangements. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.
