Elizabeth M. Conley

Elizabeth Mary Conley, 63, of Hudson, Massachusetts—known to those who loved her as Betsy—died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous ordeal with glioblastoma.

The youngest of eight siblings in a close-knit family, Betsy graduated from Hudson High School in 1981. She found her stride in work that reflected her warmth and kindness, caring for children and elders. She loved to dance, laugh, and listen to her favorite tunes. Her happiest moments were those spent with family, especially during annual summer trips to York Beach. She was a fixture at every gathering and brought joy, humor, and an unmistakable laugh wherever she went. Betsy faced life with quiet resilience, meeting challenges with grace and determination. She was deeply loved, and her absence will be felt by the family and friends, she held so dear.

She is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Mary and Fred Lamburn, Bob and Jane Conley, Judy and Kent Pandolf, Susan and Lennie Bowen, Patricia (“TT”) and Steve Yerardi, and Meg Minasian and her partner Manny. Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Conley, and her sister Debra Conley.

She cherished her role as “Aunt Bets” to many nieces and nephews and their growing families: Matt and Jill Lamburn, Seth and Cathie Lamburn, Stacey and Matt Davis, Adam and Ashley Conley, Kristen and Hernani Luz, Amy and Tim Trenary, Brian Conley, Kellie and Chris Windle, Katie and Anthony Paoletta, Melissa Andrade and Tony Monfreda, Laura Bowen, Joe Yerardi and Melissa Boivin-Yerardi, Mike and Lauren Yerardi, Steven Yerardi and Joel Libed, Michael Minasian, and Anthony Minasian. Betsy’s family is deeply grateful to the care teams at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center and to the many relatives and friends who supported her with love and kindness.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home located at 50 Central St., Hudson, MA from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home following a procession to St. Michaels Cemetery for burial.
