Elyse Maia Camara Frias

February 4, 2024 — March 22, 2024

Hudson, MA

Elyse Maia Camara Frias, born on February 4, 2024 and spending very little precious time in this world died on March 22, 2024. Her little life was cherished by her parents Alexander J. Frias and Marcie L. Camara of Hudson, MA along with all her family members.

Besides her parents, she leaves her sister Sydney Frias of Hudson, MA; her paternal grandfather Anthony “Tony Jr.” Frias of Hudson, MA; her paternal grandmother Mary (Millett) Frias of Clinton, MA; her maternal grandfather Angelo Camara and maternal grandmother Maria Armenia Camara of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada along with her great grandparents, many uncles, aunts and cousins.

We were fortunate enough to spend as much of the little time we had with our daughter. We got to know and learn about her and would tell her stories so she could learn about us. We shared laughs, tears, baths, naps, prayers, songs and snuggles together.  She loved getting baths, hugging her stuffed animals, sleeping on her belly, getting hand hugs and skin to skin time with Mommy and Daddy.

We will forever be grateful for the time we did get with her and find strength knowing she is in Gods arms joined by other friends and family as our guardian angels and protectors.

In her short time with us, Elyse showed us how to be strong and fight against life’s set backs. Something we will carry with us as she forever lives through our memories.

We are also grateful to all the wonderful Nurses, Doctors and staff of the UMass Memorial NICU. They got to know Elyse just as much as we did and it warms our hearts knowing our little girl was always in great and caring hands.

In Lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Umass Memorial NICU of Worcester, MA.

Elyse will be buried in the family plot at St. Michael Cemetery, Hudson, MA. Services will be held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, Hudson, MA is assisting the family with arrangements.
