Ferdella (Del) M. Johannes,84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Rose Monahan Hospice. She was the beloved wife of Larry A. Johannes, with whom she shared a loving marriage for 62 years.

Del is survived by her husband Larry A. Johannes; 4 children; Bryan R. Johannes and his wife Jackie, Darryl G. Johannes and his significant other Linda, Frederick W. Johannes and his wife Carrie all of Hudson, and Annette F. Jones Riverview Florida and her husband Eric, as well as her beloved grandchildren; Patrick, Molly, Jessica, Jillian, Colton and Del's step grandkids, Krysta Lane husband Parker Lane and their children of Middleton, Idaho , Travis Jones of Caldwell, Idaho and Elizabeth Jones of Riverview Florida.

Del was born on July 29, 1941, in Big Springs, Nebraska; daughter of the late Wayne and Priscilla (Graf) Reitz. She was a graduate of Venango High School, class of 1959. Del is survived by her siblings Lavergne Reitz TX, Ray Reitz TX, Ronald Reitz California, Herald Reitz Washington state and sisters, Marie Beiber Colorado, Alberta Reitz California and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Donald Reitz, William Reitz and Theresa Guggenmas.

Del dedicated her life to the welfare of her family, along with operating a successful home day care from home. In addition to her passion for caregiving, she reveled in cooking for her family and friends, where her kitchen became a gathering place for the masses filled with love and memories. Del embraced the joy of arts and crafts, often expressing her creativity through various projects that brought smiles to those around her. She also enjoyed potted flowers and growing vegetables.

Del was a former resident of Marlborough and spent the last 36 years as resident of Hudson. Her commitment to her community was evident through her active involvement with the Lions Club of Marlborough for several years

(Del) Ferdella M. Johannes is remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother, whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
