Frances M. Bissonnette

Frances M. Bissonnette, 93, of Hudson, MA, passed on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She leaves her beloved husband, Ronald R. Bissonnette, also of Hudson, and is predeceased by her first husband, Ilidio Silva.
Frances was born in Hudson, MA, on August 12, 1930, to her late parents Angelo Meschini and Justina (Colarchio).
Frances is survived by her sister Sheila Chase, wife of the late Peter Chase; her nieces and nephews; Ronald's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Angelo and Justina.
Frances was born and raised in Hudson, MA, and had lived there for the 50 years prior to her passing. She graduated from Hudson High School with the Class of 1949. She also lived in Provincetown, MA, for several years. Frances was a devout Catholic, and a parishioner at Saint Michael Parish in Hudson, MA.
Frances attended cosmetology school, and was a hairdresser and cosmetologist for many years, working at Roc's Salon and Rumors Salon in Marlborough, MA. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, with a special fondness for spending time in Stowe, Vermont, as well as other locations that were special to her. Frances was an avid reader, and, earlier in her life, she looked forward to gathering for lunch monthly with her classmates - a routine that was very special to her.
Frances was always one to put the needs of others far and above her own, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours for Frances will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 4pm-7pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10am, at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery, 278 Cox Street, Hudson, MA, for Committal Services.
