Hudson, MA
Gary S. DerMugrditchian, 53, of Hudson, died suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 28th at Marlboro Hospital.
Born in Clinton, son of the late Arthur DerMugrditchian and survived by his mother, Takuhi (Yerganian) DerMugrditchian of Hudson. Gary resided in Hudson since the age of seven when he moved here along with his parents from Watertown and was a graduate of Hudson High School, class of 1975. He was currently employed as a security officer at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury for the past five years and prior to that was employed by the former Victory Supermarket in Hudson for many years. He was a past Worshipful Master for the Masons Doric Lodge in Hudson and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Orient Lodge #31. He was a member of St. Luke's Church in Hudson and an avid cribbage player.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Mark DerMugrditchian and his wife Cynthia of Northbridge; his niece and nephew, Lindsay and David DerMugrditchian of Northbridge; his two aunts, Liberty Murgrditchian of Clinton, Rose Magarian of Peabody and his many cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 1st at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Luke's Church, 5 Washington Street, Wood Square, Hudson. Burial will follow in forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31st, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
