Guido "Ronnie" Livoli, cherished Husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2025, at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough, MA. Born on April 19, 1943, in Cambridge, MA, he was raised in Watertown, MA, where he graduated from Watertown High School.
Ronnie dedicated over 50 years of his life to his career as a maintenance engineer with Raytheon Company, working at their Waltham, Sudbury, Wayland and Marlborough facilities. His commitment and loyalty to his work were evident until his retirement in 2018 at the age of 75. He was also a proud member of IBEW Local 1505 Union, Waltham MA.
Those who knew Ronnie will remember his unique caring personality and the blend of his sense of humor with a quiet demeanor around family and friends. He was a hard worker, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Ronnie cherished his family deeply, particularly enjoying precious moments spent with his grandchildren, who affectionately called him Bampy. His love story with Elizabeth J. "Beth" Livoli began in high school and blossomed into a life filled with memorable moments together.
In addition to his family, Ronnie was an active member of his local community. He was involved with the Hudson Amvets Post 208 and the Riverside Gun Club in Hudson, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and playing a pivotal role in planning special events. Ronnie also found great joy in fishing, often taking trips from Newburyport for a day on the ocean or visiting his favored spots by the lake. He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox, New England Patriots and especially the Boston Bruins.
Ronnie is survived by his loving son, Matthew Livoli and wife Michele of Dracut, MA; his daughter, Joanne Livoli-Hogan of Hudson, MA; his daughter, Amanda Gould and husband Robert of Wilbraham, MA; and his brother, Charles Livoli and wife Nancy of Westford, MA. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Nicole Markopoulas and husband Evan, Isabella Livoli, Haley Gould, Emily Hogan, Christian Livoli, Logan Gould; and great-granddaughter Sofia Markopoulos, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth J. "Beth" Livoli in 2022; infant son, Guido Paul Livoli; daughter, Christine Livoli; father, Guido Paul Livoli; mother, Irene (Ricci) Livoli; and sister, Joan Boschetto.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home in Hudson, MA, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location starting at 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering the life of a remarkable man who touched many hearts and provided unwavering support to those around him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. Burial services will be held privately in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
