The Villages, Florida

Harrison M. Walker, 83, a resident of The Villages, FL. passed away on November 18, 2025 at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages with his wife of 63 years, Lucille (Walsh) Walker and his three children, Kim, Ronny and Jerry by his side. Harry fought a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Harry was born in Somerville, MA. on November 6, 1942 to Harrison M. and Alice M. Walker, now deceased, and lived a full life as a son, a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle. He is remembered not only as a devoted family man but also as a true gentleman by his friends and coworkers alike.

He graduated from Somerville High School in 1960. Due to an unfortunate error, it's someone else's picture next to his name in the yearbook.

His professional career spanned over four decades working for the same company in Newton, MA. He started as a painter's helper for National Research Company (NRC), a company that dealt with a metal called Tantalum. The company changed ownership a few times from being H.C. Starck and now to Materion. Harry worked his way up to a supervisory position , earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Harry enjoyed sports, was an avid golfer although he never mastered the game. However, he did master the title 'couch coach' given to him by his family.

Harry and Lucille enjoyed traveling, but their special place was Bermuda and visited the island 20+ times, sometimes enticing family and friends to join them.

Harry left quite a legacy behind. He and Lucille marvelled at how blessed they were to have such a feeling of pride in their three children, nine grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Daughter Kim and her husband Ron (Sarsfield) of MA. have four children, Sarah, Samantha, Ashley and Jason. Those four children gave Harry ten of his great grandchildren, Liam, Teagan, Brycen, Hadley, Piper, Chloe, Brody, Logan, Olivia and Finnan.

Son Ronny and his wife Laura (Vasquezi) of MA. have five children, Craig, Steven, Ryan, Christopher and Jessica. These five children gave Harry thirteen of his great grandchildren, Tommy, Brayden, Kori, Charlotte, Audrey, Myah, Hannah, Valerie, Benjamin, Landon, Callan, Oliver and Vivian.

Son Jerry is the uncle to this clan, makes visits from Holiday, FL.

Additionally, Harry has left behind two sisters and their families. Deborah Mastrianna, her husband Ralph and their daughter Karleigh of Bristol, CT. and Cynthia Duffett, her husband Doug, of Fairbanks, AK. and their children Joy, David, Jan, Sarah, Katie and Emily.

A baby sister Cheryl Walker and a three year old nephew Mark Mastrianna predeceased Harry.
