James C Larson
James Clifton Larson, age 68, went home to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on July 31, 2025. Jim passed of complications of Frontal Temporal Degeneration.
Jim was born in Stoneham, MA on September 29, 1956, to Clifton C. and Doris M (Marshall) Larson. Loving husband of Susan M (Hannan) Larson. He grew up in Lexington, Mass. He graduated from Lexington High School and Mass Bay Community College.
At the time of his passing, Jim was a member of the Frank W. Thompson Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Concord, MA. He started his lodge membership with DeMolay in his teens and then joined Simon W. Robinson Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Lexington, MA. He then transferred to FWR lodge later.
Jim and Sue met while working at Raytheon Employees Federal Credit Union. They started their life together in Hudson, MA in 1984.
Being an only child, Jim is predeceased by his parents, and his aunt and uncle Mary (Marshall) Powers and Larry Powers of Lynchburg, VA.
Besides his beloved wife, Jim is survived by his sons Eric Larson, wife Angela, of West Boylston, MA and Shaun Larson, wife Melissa, of Hudson, MA. Known as “Ta” to his Grandson’s Tobias Larson, Jack Larson and Simon Larson; Favorite Uncle and Aunt John and Sheila Marshall; Sister-in-law, Trudy M. Hannan; nieces Michelle M (Hannan) Flaherty and husband Daniel and Jaime M. Hannan-McMurrin. Great nieces, Kaia M. and Aria M. Flaherty, and Olivia M McMurrin and Hannah M McMurrin; and several cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Service and Celebration Of Life will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
A private burial will be held at the East Union Cemetery in Union, Maine.
