John Anthony Karvoski passed away peacefully at his home in Houston Texas on June 21, 2026. He was 78.

John was born in Clinton, MA on October 10, 1947 to John and Agnes Karvoski. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Diane (Funk), his sisters Jacqueline Parslow of Lancaster, Julianne Borgstrom of Clinton, Janet McGrath of Oxford and his brother-in-law John Muckenstrom of Sterling along with his several nieces and nephews.. He was a longtime resident of Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School in 1967. He joined the U.S. Army for 3 years and served in Korea during the Vietnam War.

John attended Sylvania Technical institute for electronics and worked in that field for approximately 15 years as a Test Technician for various companies. He also attended Wachusett Community College and received a certificate in hotel and restaurant management. John was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent 5 years enjoying his summer camp in Oakland Maine.

John enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe and lived in Switzerland for 10 months. He is a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister for the sick with St. Ignatius Community Church in Spring Texas.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Hudson on July 10th at 10 AM. A private burial will take place following at St. Michaels Cemetery. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting John’s family with arrangements.
