Kenneth F. LaVache

July 10, 1959 — June 4, 2025

Hudson, MA

Kenneth F. LaVache, a beloved father, brother, friend and PawPaw passed away on June 4, 2025, in Falmouth, MA, at the age of 65 due to serious injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born on July 10, 1959, in Boston, MA, Kenneth was raised in Watertown, MA, where he attended local schools and graduated from Watertown High School in the class of 1978.

Kenny dedicated 37 years of his professional life to Aggregate Industries where he operated a ready mix concrete delivery truck. His commitment to his work and his peers was evident—he was not only respected but looked up to as a leader, serving as Steward and Negotiator for the employees at the company. He was also sent to multiple Concrete Truck Rodeos where he represented the “best of the best” in the industry across the United States. Kenny retired within the year of his passing, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and camaraderie within his work family, who referred to him as "#1 on the list."

He will be remembered as a loyal father, brother, friend, and co-worker. Kenny had an undeniable passion for his family, cherishing special moments shared with his beloved daughters, Danielle M. LaVache and Brooke E. LaVache. He took great pride in being a father and later, a grandfather to Rory Kelleher, whom he adored. Kenny often enjoyed attending concerts such as the Beach Boys and Get the Led Out with his daughters and shared many joyous moments, including cheering on their favorite sports teams, the Boston Bruins, at numerous games. He was a “cheer dad” that never missed a moment for his girls. He was dependable to a fault and would boast about his girls accomplishments any chance he had.

Kennys interests extended beyond his family, as he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He looked forward to riding his Harley Davidson, partaking in many cross country trips and rides with a close-knit group of friends since the late 1970s. Kenny’s adventurous spirit and love for music brought joy not only to his life but to those around him. To know him was to love him.

Kenny is survived by his loving daughters, Danielle and Brooke; granddaughter, Rory; brothers Edward LaVache and wife Debra, Ronald "Brother Ronzo" LaVache and Daniel LaVache and wife Andrea and his baby sister Sandra O'Driscoll and husband Denis, former wife Lynn "Vaccari" LaVache; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ronald E. LaVache and Antoinette "Gandiosi” LaVache.

In true Kenny fashion, the family has requested casual/biker attire for all services. Kenny would rather “stick hot pokers in my eye” then sweat in a suit and tie all day.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on June 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, located at 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass will be held the following day, June 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Saint Michael's Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA, followed by burial at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson at 11:00 AM.
