Kimberly A. Wiedeman

January 14, 1970 — October 14, 2024

Marlborough, MA

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Wiedeman on October 14, 2024. Kimberly’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of simple pleasures. She left this world too soon surrounded by the memories of those who loved her most, including her father, Richard Wiedeman and his wife Leanne of Berlin, MA; her sister Michelle Wiedeman and her partner James Bates of Shrewsbury, MA; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives.

Kimberly was born in Framingham, MA, on January 14, 1970, to her parents Richard Wiedeman and the late Patricia (Rose) Wiedeman. Kimberly was raised in Marlborough, MA, and graduated from Marlborough High School with the class of 1988, where she formed lifelong friendships and discovered her passion for connecting with others. Growing up, she attended services at the First Church Congregational Church in Marlborough, MA.

She dedicated over ten years of her life working at NYNEX, where her kindness and dedication touched many.

Despite facing the challenges of a debilitating spine disease for many years, Kimberly’s spirit remained unbroken. Her strength and courage inspired everyone who knew her. She was a master of sarcasm and sharp wit and had a way with words finding humor in any situation. Kimberly’s laugh was infectious, and she knew how to make you laugh. She would want people to keep laughing, loving, and telling hilarious stories about her.

Kimberly loved artistic drawing and creative writing. She was also an avid fan of heavy metal and classic rock music and loved attending concerts. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays and all the scary horror movies that came with it. Kimberly’s heart was full of love for adventure and the beauty of life. Traveling was something Kimberly looked forward to. Some of her favorite destinations were Aruba, Cape Cod, Lake George, and many of the New England Beaches. Kimberly loved animals, especially dogs and chickens; she found joy in their companionship and unconditional love.

Kimberly was a kind and compassionate woman. She was entirely empathetic to the needs of others around her who had less than she did and was always ready and willing to lend a hand to those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kimberly’s life was a shining example of perseverance, love, and joy. She will be missed dearly but remembered always for her infectious smile, her fierce loyalty, and her generous spirit.

A celebration of her life will be held to honor her memory, where family and friends can come together to remember the wonderful, amazing woman she was; September 14 at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Limonaia Room, 11 French Drive in Boylston, Ma. Light buffet from 12:00 to 2:30 and then a Tree Dedication in their garden.

Rest in peace, Kimberly. Your light will continue to shine in our hearts forever.
