Lisa Vincent Comeau, 49, of Hudson, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1976, in Concord, Massachusetts. Lisa spent her early childhood in Maynard before moving with her family to Hudson when she was in first grade. It was there that she grew up, built her life, and raised her family.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose love, kindness, and radiant spirit touched everyone who knew her. She shared her life with her husband and soulmate, Steven Comeau, and together they raised their two beloved sons, Cory and John Comeau. Being a mother was her greatest joy and calling. She was especially proud of her son John’s service as a United States Marine and was a passionate Marine Mom, often organizing community efforts to support service members.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, John H. Vincent, and her beloved nephew, Baby O’Leary. She leaves behind her loving mother, Joan Vincent; her sister, Cheryl Vincent O’Leary, and husband Kevin, and their children Keagan, Teague, Brody, and Oliver; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Comeau Afonso and husband Joe Afonso, and their children Albert and Matthew; and her sister-in-law Paula Booth and her children Stevie and Gracie. She is also survived by many extended family members and countless friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.
A lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, Lisa lived out her faith through service and compassion. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played an essential role in the church’s food relief program, helping to feed and care for families in need. She also raised funds to help local families displaced by fire and constantly sought ways to bring hope and encouragement to others. She went on several mission trips with the church, serving those in need and sharing God’s love in action. Her heart for giving knew no limits.
As a child, Lisa was a proud Brownie and Girl Scout and held fond memories of Girl Scout camp and the leaders and friends who shaped her faith and joy. She could often be found with her head in a book and had a sharp wit and beautiful sense of humor that made her a joy to be around. Lisa especially loved family game nights with her husband and children. Those were the moments filled with laughter, love, and togetherness that she cherished deeply.
Lisa loved deeply, laughed often, and gave generously. Her heart of gold and steadfast love for her family and community were reflections of the faith she carried within her. Her husband, Steven, was the love of her life. Together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love, a home that reflected Lisa’s spirit and the goodness she shared with the world. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GoFundMe Support the Comeau Family After an Unimaginable Loss in her memory to help her family or Marine Corps Association Est 1913. Lisa’s faith guided her every step, and we take comfort in knowing that she is now home in the eternal arms of her Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones gone before her. Though her time with us was far too short, her light will continue to shine through all those she loved. “The Lord is close to the broken hearted” – Psalm 34:18.
