In Loving Memory

Lisa M. Hamaker

Lisa M. Hamaker, 63, of Bolton, MA passed away quietly at home on Thursday, October 11, 2018.  She is survived by her loving partner Jeffrey Winkler, Jeff’s daughter Danielle Winkler and Jeff’s son Christopher Winkler, her mother Joan Angers Hamaker, father John Hamaker and his wife Rosemarie, sister-in-law Bente Maike, her nephews Evan Hamaker and Hunter Hamaker and numerous extended family members and dear friends.  She is predeceased by her brother Steve Hamaker.

Born in China Lake, California in 1955, Lisa lived a full and passionate life spanning both coasts of the US.  Her early years were spent in California, where she graduated from USC, receiving a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Biology.  Some years later she decided to brave the New England winters and found her way to Boston where she met Jeffrey and began a new chapter in her life.  After working for various product marketing companies, Lisa started her own company in 2006.  Kaliday Consulting was a labor of love fueled by her desire to create joyful work and help others and their companies, a mission that she would pursue for over 10 years.  Lisa was also an active participant in the WPI Venture Forum and Toastmasters.

Always eager to experience new adventures, Lisa traveled the globe from Australia to Argentina to Italy, making some of her fondest memories while visiting the beaches of Kauai and deep lakes of northern Idaho with friends and family.  She was an avid cyclist, yogi, gardener, and her carrot cake was a thing of legend.  Lisa possessed amazing patience, a quirky sense of humor, and a remarkable drive to constantly improve herself and inspire those around her.  Above all else, she was a wonderful listener and positive thinker.  She will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 19 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.  Memorial donations may be made to the Bolton Public Library P.O. Box 188, Bolton, MA 01740.
