Lynda Margery Tucker, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. Born on August 3, 1947, in Marlborough, MA, Lynda lived a life marked by unwavering devotion and strength for her family and friends.
Lynda's early years were spent in Marlborough, where she attended local schools and graduated from Marlborough High School in 1964. She cherished her high school years when she was a majorette and enjoyed cheering on her brothers, Chuck and Steve, who were part of the Marlborough High School football team. Lynda married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Morgan Sr., soon after her graduation and started her family. She embraced motherhood, beginning a lifelong journey she cherished deeply.
Sadly, her husband Ray passed at a young age, but Lynda remained steadfast in her commitment to her children. A few years later Lynda started a new journey as she reconnected with Lew Tucker, who had also lost his spouse. They soon married and continued to grow their family. They settled in Grafton, MA where they spent many happy years raising their children. Lynda embraced her community and was a scout leader, religious education teacher, and could always be seen attending her children’s activities and proudly cheering them on. Once her children were raised, she and Lew moved to Shrewsbury, MA where they enjoyed many years. Lynda went to work with her brother Chuck at his store, Hill Jewelers in Sudbury. She remembered those years fondly and cherished the time with her older brother.
Throughout her life, Lynda’s artistic spirit brought her immense fulfillment. Oil painting was one of her favorite mediums and she also enjoyed sewing, ceramics, crocheting, and knitting, as she so enjoyed working with her hands. An accomplished interior decorator, she enhanced her home with her keen eye for style and detail. Lynda loved the scenic beauty of the ocean. She enjoyed trips with her loved ones to North Hampton Beach in New Hampshire, Maine, and especially loved visiting Maui, Hawaii.
Known for her ever-present smile and warmth, Lynda was very social and cherished her close friendships. While she possessed a "tough" side, those who knew her understood that this strength was born from a profound love and an unyielding willingness to support her loved ones at any cost.
Lynda's life was enriched by her family: her eldest son, Raymond (Deanna) Morgan Jr. of Shrewsbury, MA, her daughter, Kim (Bill) Galvin of Lake Forest, IL, her youngest son Todd (Amy) Tucker of Cumberland, RI, her brother Steve (Susan) Lefebvre of Marlborough, MA, and her former husband Lewis Tucker of Florida. She was a proud grandmother to Taylor, Hannah, and Joey Morgan; Jack and Delaney Galvin; and Charlie Tucker. She had one great-granddaughter Juliette, who brought her so much joy in her final days. Alongside them, her sister-in-law Beth Lefebvre, her cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends took part in the joy and warmth she imparted throughout her life.
Lynda is preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Morgan Sr. who passed in 1970, her father Charles F. Lefebvre Sr., her mother Margery (Hubert) Lefebvre, with whom she remained close to all her life, and her brothers Charles (Chuck) Lefebvre Jr and David Lefebvre.
Visiting hours will be held on April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, located at 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
