Mark S. Coolidge, 66, of Berlin, MA, died on August 4, 2023, after a long period of declining health. He was the son of the late Raymond and Barbara (Kittredge) Coolidge.
Mark leaves his brother Thomas “Calvin” Coolidge and his wife Gail of Clinton, MA; his 2 nephews, T.J. and Casey Coolidge; his niece Danielle Coolidge-Westfal along with many cousins, other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by his brother Ted Coolidge.
Mark was born in Marlborough, MA and raised in Stow, MA attending local schools and was a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. He enjoyed his younger years in Stow on Lake Boon. Following high school Mark worked for Washington Street Motors in Hudson, MA for many years in their parts department. He later owned and operated Hudson Taxi in Hudson, MA for several years. He was a member of Saint Joseph the Good Provider Parish in Berlin, MA.
Mark enjoyed spending time at home reading and watching television. He always looked forward to joining his small group of close friends for a night out dining at local restaurants whenever the opportunity was there. He was always fun to be around and his dry humor and unique personality was always on display. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten by those who loved and knew him.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service and celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 12:00PM on September 14, 2023 in South Berlin Cemetery, Pleasant Street, Berlin, MA. Donations in memory of Mark may be made to: Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest, 169 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA is honored to be assisting Mark’s family with arrangements.
