Mary Eleanor (Greeley) Fillmore, 86, of Hudson, died Thursday, Feb. 25th at Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marlboro. She was the beloved wife of Ralph G. Fillmore for 61 years who died in May of 2009.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Willis and Eleanor (Stratton) Greeley and was a 1940 graduate of Hudson High School. She was a dental assistant for many years for Dr. Perrault in Hudson. She was a member of the Hudson Historical Society and Hudson Women's Club. She was also a former Town Historian.
She is survived by her children, Ward Fillmore of Hudson, Bradford Fillmore and his wife Themia of Hudson, Eleanor Grasso and her husband John Jr. of Hudson and Debi Fillmore of Marlboro. She is also survived by her sister Viola Ross of Hudson and three grandchildren, Amanda and Madelyn Grasso and Savanna Fillmore. She was the sister of the late Herbert, Richard and Robert Greeley and Helen Jackson.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 34 Felton Street, Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.(www.tighehamilton.com).
