Michael R. Kittredge

Michael R. Kittredge, born on November 7, 1954 in Marlborough, MA, passed away on July 16, 2026. Throughout his 71 years, Michael is remembered as a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

Michael was raised in Hudson, son of the late Paul Kittredge and Lucille (Hill) Kittredge Roussel. He attended local schools and was a 1972 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School. He was a baker by trade and worked for many years with Hannaford's Supermarkets in their Bakery Department.  He most recently was working with Shaw's Supermarket in Hudson. 

Michael grew up with a deep appreciation for family bonds. His memory will be cherished by his beloved siblings: his sister Kathleen Frank and her husband Ray of St. Cloud, FL, and his brothers Kevin and his wife Ann of Hudson, MA, Danny and his wife Heidi of Hooksett, NH, and Robert of Cherry Hill, NJ. He also leaves behind his loving nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Michael’s life was also profoundly shaped by cherished memories of his long time partner Richard Giannasoli (2021), and his late sisters, Paula Kittredge (2016) and Maureen Kittredge (2013).

Michael led a simple life and appreciated all the values of family life. He enjoyed painting through most of his life as a hobby. He took courses at the New England School of Art in Boston to improve on his natural talent as an artist. Michael often spoke to his family and friends of the time he spent at the Sisters of Saint Crettiene Hall in Marlborough as a cook. He reminisced often how much he appreciated the Sisters at Saint Crettiene and the way they welcomed him into their lives. He fondly remembered the enjoyment of his days performing with the Royal Jades Marching Band in Hudson as a youth. He also found immense joy in the love and caring of his pet "Cats" throughout his life.

Michael's family will honor him with a graveside service at Forestvale Cemetery on Broad Street in Hudson. Date and time will soon be announced here.

Michael R. Kittredge will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. His legacy endures through his family and the lives he touched, and he will be remembered with deep respect and affection.
