Michele E. Scanlan

After fifty amazing years with her husband Tim Fiehler, Shelly found peace after a lengthy battle with cancer. Shelly and Tim enjoyed over thirty years in Bolton, MA, where they raised their sons Samuel Paul and Lucas Jameson. She is survived by her husband and sons, daughter-in-law Madeleine Sims, her four siblings Thomas F. Scanlan III (Watertown, MA), Nancy P. Davenport (Tarpon Springs, FL), Carole and brother-in-law Steve Schneider (Wayland, MA), Tracy and brother-in-law Jerry Zaslow (Upton, MA), eight nieces and nephews, and many close cousins and friends.

Shelly was an avid traveler and lived her life relentlessly. She loved the ocean, nature, and was always planning her next adventure. Shelly was a graduate of Belmont High School (Class of 1972). She led a long and successful career as a retail buyer, using her keen intellect and quick wit to build a broad network of friends and colleagues.

Shelly’s love, generosity, and unstoppable spirit will be missed and remembered by all. Services are private. A Celebration of Life will be planned to honor Shelly in the near future.
