Patricia M. Kuras

Patricia M. Kuras, 70, passed away at her home in Hudson, MA on September 12, 2025.

Patricia, who went by Pat, was a published poet, artist, and a beloved member of many communities.

Pat was born on September 30, 1954, to John "Jack" and Claire Kuras. She graduated from Hudson Catholic High School in 1972 and spent time living and working in Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA before returning to her hometown of Hudson.

A lover of the arts, Pat enjoyed visiting museums and attending poetry readings as both a writer and a listener. Her writing has been published in several poetry journals and Pat self-published two books: "Hope: Newfound Clarity" in 2015 and "Insomniac Bliss" in 2017.

She is survived by her sister Donna and her partner Mark, her nieces Amanda and Courtney and their families, and her brother-in-law Kerry.

The Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025 from 1-4pm at the Bolton Street Tavern, 587 Bolton St, Marlborough, MA. Please RSVP to Donna Kuras at yesteryrda@aol.com so she can provide a head count to the restaurant.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to Hudson Public Library.
