Patricia M. Rogers (James), 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born on November 16, 1941, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Patricia’s life was marked by deep devotion to her family, a steadfast work ethic, and a joyful, generous spirit that touched all who knew her.

Patricia was born and raised in Waltham, MA. where she attended local schools and graduated from Saint Bernard's High School in Newton, MA. Her roots in her hometown shaped her early years, instilling in her a strong sense of community and connection. In 1978, she moved to Hudson, MA, where she continued to build a loving home. In 2003, Patricia and her daughter Christine relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, embracing new surroundings and memories by the sea. She resided in Florida until 2022, when she returned to Hudson, MA.

Her professional journey reflected her dedication and compassion. Patricia worked for many years as a clerk at Lee Memorial Hospital and Marlborough Hospital, where she was respected and appreciated for her diligence and kindness. Following a rewarding career, she retired in 2002, cherishing the relationships she had developed with colleagues and patients alike.

Patricia’s family was always her greatest source of joy. She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Rogers, Sr. of Florida; her loving children, Richard Rogers and his wife, Theresa of Marlborough, MA., Christine Rogers of Hudson, MA., and William Rogers of Florida, and her cherished grandchildren, Krista Rogers, Samantha Rogers, Tommy Rogers, John Rogers, Drew Rogers, Alyssa Rogers, Patrick Rogers, Adrian Andrade-Bettencourt, and Tanya Andrade-Bettencourt; her loving great grandchildren Neveah, Shayleigh, Landon, Hadley Ann, Logan, Theo, and Wade; sister Nancy Jones and her husband, Jay of Florida, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William H. and Elizabeth M. (Collagan) James; her son Ronald J. Rogers, Jr. and survived by Ronald's wife, Helena Bettencourt of Hudson, MA.; and her late siblings William James, Dickie James and Barbara Mansfield.

Known for her sense of humor and unique warmth, Patricia was always willing to entertain those around her. Whether sharing a story, uplifting others with her wit, or singing her favorite Patsy Kline tunes as a self-proclaimed vocalist, her presence brought laughter and light to every gathering. She found great happiness at the beaches in Florida, savoring the sun and sea, and also enjoyed cheering for the Patriots while in her southern home.

To her family, Patricia was the cornerstone—a supportive, loving, and caring mother and grandmother who continually strived to provide the best for those she held dear. Her passion for her family shone through in countless memories, from holidays and milestones to ordinary days spent together. The moments shared will be treasured forever.
