Paula C. Parillo

Paula C. Parillo of Hudson, formerly of Somerville MA, passed away at UMass Medical Center – University Campus on Friday January 2, 2026, after a lengthy illness. She was 84 years of age. Born in Winthrop MA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Mulcahy) Prendable.

She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A Parillo Sr. Devoted mother of Richard Parillo and his spouse John C Kodis of Hudson and the late Michael A Parillo Jr. Dear sister of Jack Prendable and his wife Susan of Tennessee, and the late Joyce Attenasio (Pasquale), Patricia Scuturio (Sam), Jeri McInnis(Leo), Joe Prendable (Rosemary), James Prendable, Robert and Roberta Prendable. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Paula moved to Hudson MA in 2019, after many years in Somerville. One of her biggest joys in life was running her in Home Day Care and Preschool, which she ran for over 30 years. To the day of her passing Paula kept in touch with many of the families she had in her care. She went so far as to learn how speak Thai, for one of the children in her care. She loved doing arts and crafts and helping the children learn their ABC’s.

She bravely battled Stage 4 Lung cancer and various other medical issues over the last 4 years, but she was still feisty and snappy right till the end, as those who knew her well knew this was her way.

At Paula ‘s request there will be no services at this time. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
