Born on May 19, 1963, on the Island of Santa Maria in the Azores of Portugal, Paulo’s journey spanned from his early years enjoying the serene beauty of his birthplace to becoming a valued member of the Hudson, Massachusetts community following his immigration to the United States at age ten.
He is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife of 37 years, Maria (Figueiredo) Moura, whose companionship brought him great joy throughout their years. Their bond was built on partnership, laughter and the simple happiness of just being together. The deep connection they shared was a shining example of commitment and unconditional love. Throughout his career, he worked in various companies like Data General, EMC and Dell. With his last job being at JCI, fulfilling various roles as Coordinator in Worcester and Rhode Island.
Outside of work and family, Paulo found passion in playing sports whether it was soccer, wallyball, or for many years organized street hockey. Later his joy was golfing, which included playing in leagues and tournaments with his many friends. One of Paulo's greatest joys was his seasonal camping at Bourne Scenic Park with his wife, Maria. Every weekend, he could be found tending to a fire, surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. While camping Paulo enjoyed sitting by the canal with his lovely wife, lobster trapping, quahogging and driving his golf cart. Paulo also enjoyed spending the holidays with family and friends.
