Ramesh Chander
Kapoor
Jul 20, 1949 — Jul 19, 2026
Stow
It is with profound sadness that the Kapoor family informs you of the passing of Ramesh Chander Kapoor. He passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife, Vinod Kapoor, his son and daughter-in-law, Bhupesh Kapoor & Shivani Mehta; his daughter and son-in-law, Amita Kakkar and Sanjay Kakkar; his son and daughter-in-law, Deepak Kapoor and Stephanie Judy, and four grandchildren, Simran Kakkar, Aditya Kakkar, Harrison Chander Kapoor, and Kajal Jyotsna Kapoor.
At the age of 35 he immigrated with his wife and three children to America from India. Ramesh valued hard work and sacrifice, and was deeply connected to his family and faith. Always with a warm heart, Ramesh did everything in his power to make guests feel welcomed and loved, and to make them laugh. He was fond of classical Indian music, and classic American comedy programs. Ramesh had a knack for effortless unqualified love for his children and grandchildren. He always approached any challenge in his life with patience and resilience. He was an eternal optimist who always encouraged his children to face adversity with a broad perspective and never lose sight of the good in the world around them.
