The town of Hudson lost a patriarch of plumbing in the town.
Richard T Curley SR passed away January 4Th from heart conditions surrounded by his family. His love for his family and businesses was his focus and foremost his deepest love for his wife of 58 years, Charleen McCarthy Curley.
He was so proud of giving the kids in town a special breed of cows to admire on the side of road to watch. The cows and farm kept his kids ‘‘out of trouble ‘”.
He was a part of his father’s plumbing business until 1980 when he opened Richard T Curley Plumbing and Heating with his 3 licensed plumber children and his wife.
He worked heartlessly to give the best to all he cared for, especially his family and animals. Night and day he was there to be a be a supporter, husband and father selflessly. We could write about all his accomplishments but there wouldn’t be enough pages.
He was truly a legend and one of a kind, they don’t make them like that anymore.
He leaves behind his love of his life Charleen, son (his buddy) Rick and spouse Laura Jeffrey, and his daughter Coleen Curley Tardif and his grandchildren Attalissa, Conor, Eliza, Reiana and Kelsie. He will be missed by all his connections in surrounding towns by many personal friends, business associates and family.
He was truly a legend and one of a kind as they don’t make them like that anymore.
He is predeceased by his 2 sons Kevin and Craig Curley who he adored.
Services and burial will be held privately. Family and friends are encouraged to attend a celebration of Dick's life on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Hudson Lodge of Elks, 99 Park Street, Hudson, MA.
