Robert Archambeault

Robert Archambeault, 85, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, after a period of declining health. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 59 years, Grace A. (Estabrook) Archambeault, who predeceased him in July 2020.

Robert was born and raised in Hudson, MA, a son of the late Leslie and Blanche (Delorme) Archambeault. He later moved to Marlborough, MA and resided there 40 years before retiring to North Fort Myers, Florida, where he lived for 20 years with Grace until she passed away last year. Robert was a skilled carpenter and spent much of his career building custom cabinets. Robert was a hard working man his entire life and was meticulous when it came to caring for his home and his yard especially at his retirement property in Florida. Robert’s family was always the most important thing in his life.

Robert is survived by 3 children, Deborah J. Joyce and her partner Steve Cochran of Hudson, MA, Daniel Archambeault and his wife Michelle of Worcester, MA and Denise Palmer and her husband David of Punta Gorda, FL; his twin sister, Betty Irvine of Hudson, MA; his sister Terry Morte of AZ; his grandchildren, Bruce Palmer, Sean Palmer, Asialee Palmer and Logan Cochran; 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter Palmer and Callie Cassell;  many nieces and nephews and a person close to his heart, Michelle Zakrzewski. In addition to Grace and his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Archambeault.

Services will be held at a later date. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
