Robert K. Bunting

Robert “Rob” K. Bunting, 26 of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Rob is survived by his parents Kurt S. and Roberta F. (Ferguson) Bunting; his brother Kurt S. Bunting and his wife Megan of Windham, NH and his niece Mia Bunting, whom he adored.

Rob was born in Newton on February 25, 1992 and was raised in Sudbury where he graduated from Lincoln Sudbury High School. He continued his studies as an Electrician at Porter Chester Institute. Rob also worked for several years as a Store Manager for Radio Shack and Staples.

Rob was an avid gamer and enjoyed playing pool. He also loved going to the family home on the coast of Maine with his family.  He never missed the annual Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport.  He loved animals and was inseparable from his dog “Oreo”.

Rob will most be remembered for his giant heart and caring nature. He was a believer in “paying it forward” and in practicing random acts of kindness. Rob would often buy gift cards at Dunkin Donuts and pass them out to strangers just to brighten their day.

In lieu of flowers, Rob’s family asks that in the spirit of Rob’s generosity towards others, everyone “pay it forward” for someone else or perform a random act of kindness toward a stranger.

A period of calling hours will be held privately for Rob’s close friends and family from 10 am until 12 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018; immediately followed by a private funeral service in the funeral Home at 12 pm at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson.
