Hudson

Ronald M. DeAngelis, Sr. passed away peacefully in Hudson, Massachusetts, on Saturday, August 2, 2025 surrounded by friends and family. Born on August 10, 1946, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, he was raised in the town of Stow, MA. At the age of 23, Ronald made Hudson his home, where he would reside for many years to come.

In his professional life, Ronald established himself as a dedicated electronic technician, earning the respect of colleagues as a brilliant Troubleshooter of the Patriot Missile Project. His tenure at Raytheon Company spanned an impressive 40 years, where he rose to the esteemed position of team leader, a role that underscored his commitment to excellence and teamwork.

Ronald attended local schools in Stow, MA and was a 1965 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School. Ronald was known for his unique way of expressing love, gratitude and affection. Ronald's family and friends all knew that receiving a simple acknowledgement of "Good Job"  was his way of expressing his appreciation.

An avid gardener, he took special delight in nurturing tomato plants that thrived under his attentive care. Each season brought the opportunity for growth not only in his garden but also in the bonds he shared with his loved ones. During the sun-drenched winters, Ronald escaped to the inviting shores of Daytona Beach, where his town house at Lighthouse Shores became a haven of happiness.

Ronald was a passionate antique collector, immersing himself in the vibrant atmosphere of flea markets, antique shows and also marketing his many collections.

Ronald is remembered not only for his talents but for the enduring friendships he formed. He is survived by his former wife, Helen K. DeAngelis (Wynaught), and lifelong friends Steven Frias and wife Kathryn Clisham of Clinton, MA and Lou LeBlance and his wife, Nicole of Bolton, four angels who cared and gave him love during his final years of life. He was predeceased by his son, Ronald M. DeAngelis, Jr., whose loss resonated deeply within his heart.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, located at 50 Central St., Hudson, MA., following a funeral service and celebration of Ronald's life at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
