Wendi L. (Shumski) Hamilton

Wendi L. (Shumski) Hamilton, 36, of Auburn, MA, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her beloved husband, Timothy D. Hamilton.

Wendi was born in Framingham, MA on November 18, 1981, the daughter of Michael W. Shumski and Donna L. (LaBarre) Shumski. She was raised in Hudson where she graduated high school and shortly after moved to Rutland, MA before settling in Auburn, MA, where she has resided for the past 17 years. Wendi devoted her life to raising her two boys and caring for her family.

An amazing mother to her sons, Wendi’s life revolved around caring for them. She was a very thoughtful and caring person, which was always obvious by her knack for giving the perfect gifts to people for Christmas and the holidays. She was always thinking of others and it didn’t matter what time of year it was, when she saw a great gift she would get it right away. Wendi was also a great artist and she had an exceptional talent for drawing. She also enjoyed making crafts and giving them away as gifts to her friends and family.

In addition to her beloved husband, Timothy D. Hamilton, she is also survived by her two sons, Marcus R. Hamilton and Colby S. Hamilton; her mother, Donna L. (LaBarre) Shumski; her father, Michael W. Shumski; a sister, Kelli L. Shumski; a brother, Christopher C. Shumski; and a niece Lillian B. Shumski.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 5 pm until 8 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018. A funeral Service will be celebrated the following day at 10 am on Saturday, October 13, 2018, followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery for interment.
