Hudson, MA

Yvonne B. Bleiler, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 22, 1948, in Marlborough, MA, where she spent her early years before establishing her home in Hudson for the past 50 years—a community she cherished and served with dedication.

A proud graduate of Marlborough High School, class of 1967, Yvonne dedicated 36 years of her life to being a Crossing Guard in Hudson. During this time, she demonstrated tireless commitment, ensuring the safety of countless students with her courteous and respectful manner. Yvonne became a beloved figure in the community, earning the admiration of parents and students alike. In addition to her role as a crossing guard, Yvonne spent 17 years at Brad's Deli, where her outstanding service and friendly disposition made her popular among customers.

Yvonne was a devoted wife to Joseph J. Bleiler, sharing 51 wonderful years of marriage. They met in Brant Rock (Marshfield) where they spent many summers by the ocean. Together, they built a loving family that included their two sons, Joseph S. Bleiler and wife Lauren Kelly and sons (Johnathon & Matthew) of North Carolina, and James J. Bleiler and wife Bonnie and sons (Logan & Evan) of Rutland, MA. She took great pride in her role as a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed family trips and vacations with her grandkids while instilling in them the values of life and respect for others.

Remembered for her caring and lovable personality, Yvonne was often described as "The Life of the Party." Family gatherings were filled with joy and laughter, as her vibrant spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence. Yvonne along with Joe were members of the Hudson Riverside Gun Club, enjoying the many events held there over the years.

Yvonne enjoyed gardening and the outdoors, devoting time to her beloved hobbies. She cherished camping trips all around New England during the summers and looked forward to annual visits to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, each March—special moments she treasured while creating lasting memories with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her sons; her cherished grandchildren; her brother, David Soucy of Maine; her sisters, Estelle Hebert of Florida, Joanne Buckley of Hudson, and Betty Collins of Kentucky; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Yvonne joins her parents, Albert and Blanche Soucy, and her brother, Donald Soucy, in eternal rest.
