Antonio Moura Puim, 85, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 2, 2020, after a period of declining health. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria (Moreira) Puim.

Antonio was born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal, on January 28, 1935, a son of the late Manuel Puim de Fontes and Maria Jose de Moura Puim. He was raised in the Azores and immigrated to the United States after spending some time in Canada. He has resided in Hudson for the past 60 years. Antonio worked hard as a machine operator locally for many dedicated years before eventually retiring.

Throughout his life he remained devout to his Catholic faith and was a longtime member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson. He took great pride in his home and was an avid gardener. Antonio loved spending time with his family and cooking dinners on Sunday was a weekly ritual with his family.

Antonio is also survived by his three children, Michael M. Puim and his wife Mandy, Lisa M. Puim, and Anna M. Baker and her husband Peter; 2 sisters, Maria Chaves and Emilia Moura; 6 grandchildren, Michael Anthony Puim and his wife Briana, Michelle Parsons and her husband Richard, Kaitlyn Puim, Tania O’Dell and her husband Jeremy, Nathan Baker and Matthew Baker; 7 great-grandchildren, Ritchie Parsons, Liam Parsons, Gracie Parsons, Charlotte Puim, Thomas Puim, Graham O’Dell and Mack O’Dell and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Jose Fontes, Antonio Fontes, Manuel Puim, Alfredo Puim, Angelo Puim, Victorino Puim, Joao Puim, and Bernardino Puim

Due to the recent COVID 19 guidelines interment will be held privately at Saint Michael Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Michael Parish in Hudson at a later date.
