Hudson

Curtis P. Blair of Hudson, 78, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 15, 2021. Curt was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on March 5, 1943. He was the son of Dr. Murray R. and Olga P. Blair.  He is survived by his devoted wife Liana (Cabral) Hurley Blair and his children Elisabeth Blair Coble and her husband Stefan of Clinton; Christopher Blair and his wife Kim of Maine; Hilary Blair accompanied by her village - husband Tim Willsmer, his partner Erin Mulligan and her husband, Chris Hyde of Lunenburg; and his stepson Jason Hurley of Hudson. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Kimberley Blair and his son Mark Blair; his brothers Dr. Murray R. Blair, Jr, and David P. Blair, his fraternal twin; and his sister, Carol Sawtell.

Curt enjoyed life with his children and his 13 grandchildren: Joshua Coble, Alisha Simkhovich and her husband Dennis; Leia Coble, Mikayla Coble, Tyler and Damon Blair, Christopher, Allison and Aspen Blair; Nathan and Josephine Willsmer, Finn Hyde, and Ellliott Mulligan. He adored his three great-granddaughters, Alexandra and Adelina Simkhovich, and Keiana Coble Phillips. He also leaves four nieces and nephews - Paul, Diana, Krystal and Raquel Fernandes; and his sisters-in-law, Maria (Gerry) Fernandes and her husband Manuel, and Susan Cabral and her husband Leonardo Sandoval.

A kid at heart, Curt spent his time creating memorable experiences for his family such as building tree houses, igloos, a go-cart racetrack, boating and much more!  He was a generous, kind soul who wanted nothing more than to see his family having fun in life. Curt was a distinguished, intelligent, happy and funny man who enjoyed traveling. He loved watching the Patriots with family. He was an avid and talented chess player who loved to play with his son Christopher.

He was a skilled Engineer in the Aerospace and Defense field working on several government subcontracts. He retired from BAE Systems in Nashua, NH..

Though Curt suffered from Parkinson’s disease towards the end of his life, his spirit continued to shine. His enthusiasm was not only infectious, but also inspiring. Curt has left his loving mark and will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life will be privately held at a family home.
