Elton Eloin Rocha Araujo

Elton Eloin Rocha Araujo, 55, of Stow, MA, formerly of Long Beach, CA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Marlborough Hospital, after a courageous battle with ALS. He leaves behind his beloved partner of almost 20 years, Steve Siewierski and his sister Elba along with her family who reside in Brazil.

Elton was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, on January 7, 1966, a son of the late Alzimar Araujo Cunha and Jovita (Rocha) Araujo. He was raised in Brazil and later immigrated to the United States in 1986 and shortly after settled in Long Beach California, where he resided until this past December, when he and his partner Steve, relocated to Stow, MA to be near extended family. Elton worked in the film industry and was a very talented writer and producer. He was a very spiritual person and enjoyed photography, traveling and cooking. He will be greatly missed by his friends and loved ones.

All services will be held privately. Arrangement are under the care of Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home.
