Gregory J. Garcia, 74, a life long resident of Hudson, MA, died on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital after a long period of declining health.

Gregory was born at Framingham Union Hospital, son of the late Manuel and Ouzabia (Silva) Garcia. He was raised in Hudson, MA where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School. Gregory spent many years as a custodian at the High School in Hudson until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson serving as an alter attendant and member of the Holy Ghost Society for over 50 years. He was also an active member of the Hudson Senior Center.

Besides his parents, Gregory was predeceased by his brother David Garcia and his brother Jeffrey Garcia. He is survived by a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Gregory spent most of his life serving amidst the Hudson community he resided in. He enjoyed spending time with his friends whether dining out at the Manor Restaurant in West Boylston or just a cup of coffee at one of the local coffee shops. Later on in life Gregory took organ playing lessons which became a weekly event and cherished his “Falcetti” Family. He will be remembered as a devoted son, loving brother and loyal friend to all who loved and knew him.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 9:00 AM in St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Arrangements are under the care of Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
