Mark P. Adams

April 24, 1957 — April 11, 2023

Boylston

Mark P. Adams, 65, of Boylston passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023, at home with his family by his side.

Mark was born on April 24, 1957, to Carlton and Shirley Adams - the youngest of seven sons.

He grew up in Boylston, MA, and was known around town as “Bomb”. When Young Mark wasn’t hanging around the Center Courts or hosting parties on Carol Dr, he attended St. John’s High School and graduated in 1975.

Mark worked for Digital, The American Red Cross, and Saint-Gobain, and had been happily retired for the past few years.

Mark had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Ironically, he really enjoyed reading the obits. When he was young one of his hobbies was digging for old bottles. He amassed a cool collection, and that kickstarted his love for all things vintage and antique. He loved to fish, and took his kids fishing often when they were younger. He was a diehard Boston Sports fan. Watching his kids play sports and cheering them on was his favorite, though. He loved music - playing it, listening to it, and sharing great songs. Mark enjoyed the beach, crossword puzzles, a good movie, a scratch ticket, a long drive, and a walk around the Resi. He made the best beef stew.

He was a wonderful and dedicated son to his mother, always visiting and helping her until she passed in 2006.

Mark loved and appreciated the simple things in life, and was truly happiest having some laughs with his family and friends.

Dad, you are very much loved, and you will be missed so much.

He leaves behind his three children- Stephanie (Adams) Comeau and husband Matt, Mark Adams and wife Jamie, and Katie (Adams) Erlandson and husband Tim. He had 6 grandchildren he loved- Ben, Alison, Nate, Anna, Izzy, and William. Mark also leaves his former wife and mother to his children, Carol, his brothers Ron Adams, Peter Adams and wife Denise, Jeff Adams and wife Fay, long-time girlfriend Nancy Velleco, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mark is predeceased by his parents Carlton and Shirley and brothers Dean, Dennis, and Terry.
